About the Role
Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) in Brazil is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Cost to Serve Program Manager to lead cost optimization initiatives across our Middle Mile network. This role is critical to driving operational efficiency, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and ensuring financial discipline across Sort Center operations.
As the Cost to Serve Program Manager, you will own the end-to-end tracking of cost-related projects within ATS, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, monitor initiatives and actions, and produce data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions. You will operate as a Program Manager at the intersection between Operations and Finance, translating complex financial and operational data into execution of actions and recommendations for leadership.

Key job responsibilities

Program Management & Project Tracking: Own the delivery of Cost to Serve initiatives, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across multiple projects and work-streams simultaneously.
Stakeholder Coordination: Engage, influence, and align stakeholders across Operations, ACES, Finance, Engineering, and external partners to drive program execution and remove blockers.
Cost Analysis & Financial Insights: Analyze ATS cost structures, identify reduction opportunities, and produce insights that drive measurable improvements in cost-per-package , cost-per-unit (CPU), Variable and Fix Cost Per Unit and overall Cost to Serve metrics.
Operational Excellence: Drive process improvements and the adoption of best practices in cost management, reporting cadences, and governance mechanisms.
Strategic Narratives & Communication: Author MBR/QBR documents, and narratives; present findings and recommendations to leadership up to 2 tiers above (L9).
Risk Mitigation & Escalation: Identify long-term risks to cost targets, clear blockers with appropriate resources, and escalate when necessary while making informed trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs.
Mentoring & Development: Mentor and develop cross-functional team members, fostering analytical capabilities and financial acumen across the organization.
Operational Planning: Contribute inputs to OP1/OP2 planning cycles related to Cost to Serve strategy and targets.
