Senior Program Officer
Summary
Oversee the rollout and monitoring of AI-powered public-health programs in Indian states, coordinating with officials and training frontline workers.
- Collaborate with state program teams to support deployment of AI-enabled solutions.
- Provide technical and operational support for smooth implementation across facilities and districts of the state.
- Coordinate with government officials, internal teams, and stakeholders for effective project execution and issue resolution.
- Manage monitoring and evaluation by tracking performance indicators, analyzing data, and preparing periodic reports and insights.
- Support training and capacity building of healthcare workers through workshops and on-ground handholding.
- Provide field-level troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of implementation challenges.
- Contribute to strengthening scalable digital health ecosystems and integration of AI tools into routine systems.
- Document project progress, outcomes, challenges, and key learnings.
- Willingness to travel within and outside the state as required.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, complemented by a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Health Management, or Community Medicine.
- 5–12 years of experience in public health, particularly within government health systems, with a focus on digital health and AI initiatives.
- Deep understanding of ground realities and implementation challenges in areas such as MNCH, TB, NCDs, IDSP, CPHC, and Quality of Care.
- Prior experience in MNCH and TB–HIV programs is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape, particularly the Ayushman Bharat initiative and National Health Mission (NHM) strategies.
- Fluency in local(Marathi) language.
