Raytheon is seeking a Program Operations Manager (POM) who will be accountable for all operations associated within the Ground Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) Program. This position will partner with a cross-functional program team and the applicable manufacturing sites (factories) to develop and execute a manufacturing strategy that supports business objectives and drives cost, schedule, and technical performance.
What You Will Do
- Partner with program and business leadership to shape, develop and execute the strategies and objectives of the product line to achieve the cost, quality and schedule goals
- Drive front end of the business activities including capital strategy & execution and manufacturing strategy (make/buy/where)
- Work with program and factory teams to establish accurate Bill of Material (BOM) and executable build plan
- Establish an executable manufacturing plan and manage operations specific risks and opportunities
- Coordinate & develop operations requirements for all gate reviews & execute proposed strategies from early gate reviews for effective implementation in future production
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive cost, schedule, technical performance
- Own program On Time Delivery and development of recovery strategies as required
- Interface daily with factory and program management to communicate operations status, issues/help needed, risks and opportunities
- Prepare & present information for Monthly Management Reviews, summarizing program status & any on-going production issues
- Maintain collaborative and responsive relationships within the product line and with functional support organizations
- Support proposal activities including Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation and ensure costs & challenges are understood by operations/factory leadership
- Provide functional oversight and professional development for team members
- Work in fast-paced environment and with minimal direct supervision
- Effectively present to audiences at all levels including executive communication
- Build and lead cross functional teams/projects (i.e. operations, engineering, quality, supply chain)
- Have Earned Value Certification or equivalent or obtain within six months of hire
Qualifications You Must Have
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or Program / Project Management
- Experience with manufacturing / shop floor execution and resource planning systems
- Financial/budgets and/or risk & opportunity management / experience with EACs
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes across product life cycle
- Experience with Make/Buy/Where process, Capital Planning, Cost Reduction Strategy, Gate Reviews & Constraints Management
- Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimating and TINA proposal process

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
