Programmatic Media Analyst
Overview of the role:
We are looking for a Senior Programmatic Media Analyst to join our Performance team and play a key role in the strategy, execution, measurement, and evolution of our programmatic media initiatives.
This position requires a strong analytical mindset combined with hands-on experience in programmatic media and the Google advertising ecosystem. You will be expected to go beyond campaign execution: challenging existing setups, identifying opportunities, translating data into actionable business insights, and independently proposing strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
You will work closely with different areas across the paid media ecosystem, connecting programmatic advertising with broader Search, Social, App, Branding, Analytics, and Creative strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Plan, set up, manage, and optimize programmatic media campaigns across Display & Video 360 (DV360), including Display, Video, YouTube, CTV, and premium inventory.
- Develop audience strategies involving remarketing, custom segments, lookalike audiences, and other relevant targeting approaches.
- Manage programmatic deals such as PMPs, Preferred Deals, and Programmatic Guaranteed, as applicable.
- Analyze campaign and business data to identify opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and recommend strategic improvements.
- Ensure data quality and measurement consistency across platforms such as DV360, Campaign Manager 360, GA4, Floodlight, and MMPs.
- Work with attribution, effective frequency, incrementality, view-through measurement, lift analysis, and cross-channel impact.
- Contribute to discussions that move measurement beyond last-click attribution and provide a more complete understanding of media effectiveness.
- Manage campaign budgets and pacing, ensuring efficient allocation across channels, audiences, formats, and inventory.
- Monitor performance with a focus on sustainable ROI/ROAS, efficiency, and scale.
- Work collaboratively with Search, Social, App, Branding, Creative, and Analytics teams to ensure consistency across the customer journey.
- Support creative and format strategies for programmatic media, using performance data to guide the continuous evolution of assets and messaging.
- Ensure compliance with platform policies and best practices related to brand safety, inventory quality, ads.txt/app-ads.txt, and media governance.
- Share analyses, priorities, risks, and progress transparently with the team while managing day-to-day responsibilities with a high level of autonomy.
What you’ll bring:
- Solid hands-on experience with programmatic media, ideally working with DV360 in complex campaign environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently investigate data, identify patterns, build hypotheses, and turn findings into business recommendations.
- Experience with DV360, GA4, and the Google advertising ecosystem.
- Knowledge of Campaign Manager 360 and Floodlight is highly valued; deep CM360 expertise can also be further developed in the role.
- Strong understanding of digital media measurement, attribution, campaign performance, and cross-channel analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets, including data analysis, cross-referencing, and simple automations.
- Experience managing relevant media budgets and working with performance-driven environments.
- Ability to connect media metrics with business outcomes rather than focusing exclusively on dashboards or platform KPIs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to share insights, challenges, and learnings with the broader team.
- Knowledge of Looker Studio, incrementality tests, lift studies, or Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) is a plus.
- Previous experience in advertising agencies, large-scale advertisers, retail, financial services, fintechs, or other complex performance-oriented environments is highly valued.
- Intermediate English is mandatory; Advanced English is considered a plus.
We require a candidate who has achieved or is capable of the following:
- Operating at a genuinely senior level of autonomy, creating strategies and conducting analyses without requiring constant supervision.
- Demonstrating strong analytical and measurement capabilities, with confidence navigating complex datasets and campaign scenarios.
- Taking ownership of deliverables, decisions, and outcomes.
- Identifying problems proactively and proposing solutions rather than simply executing predefined tasks.
- Communicating openly and transparently, including when challenges, mistakes, or risks arise.
- Prioritizing effectively in a dynamic environment with daily demands and changing business needs.
- Collaborating effectively across teams while maintaining ownership of their individual responsibilities.
- Challenging existing media structures and setups when data indicates that a different approach could generate better results.
- Demonstrating depth and consistency in previous experiences that support the level of seniority required for the role.
