Senior Programme Manager

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Pembrokeshire to assist with the appointment of a Senior Programme Manager, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £27.79 - £36.43 per hour

Summary:

An experienced Senior Regeneration Programme Manager is required to support the Head of Property, Regeneration & Economic Development in delivering the Council's strategic regeneration agenda.

The role will provide senior leadership in the development, management and delivery of complex regeneration programmes and multi-million-pound capital projects, including schemes funded through Welsh Government, UK Government and other external funding streams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, delivery and monitoring of key strategic capital and grant programmes.
• Lead the delivery of strategic regeneration priority programmes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and place-based strategies.
• Develop and maintain long-term regeneration programmes, business cases and delivery plans.
• Provide programme-level governance, reporting, assurance and financial control.
• Act as the Council's lead client representative or Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for high-profile regeneration schemes.

Qualifications:

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in urban regeneration, surveying, planning, construction, project management or a related discipline, with substantial relevant professional experience.

Essentials:

• Proven experience of successfully delivering complex regeneration, development or capital programmes.
• Strong project and programme management experience.
• Substantial experience of managing multi-million-pound budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of planning, construction, procurement and regeneration policy frameworks.
