Summary
Develops BIM software at a Hong Kong construction-technology firm: 3D model interaction, rendering optimization, quantity takeoff (QTO) and cost integrations, plus AI-assisted tooling. Core stack is TypeScript with React/Vue.js, Python or Rust, and hands-on work in a 3D rendering technology such as Three.js, WebGL, Unity or Unreal Engine.

Senior Programmer / Programmer
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and develop solutions that support BIM features, including 3D model interaction, rendering optimization, quantity takeoff (QTO), and cost integrations.
Collaborate with the project teams on requirements, prototypes, testing, system integration and troubleshooting.
Apply AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, code quality, security, and automation.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies in construction technology, software engineering, and contribute innovative solutions.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
Minimum 1 year of relevant software development experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React / Vue.js, Python, Rust or equivalent application development technologies.
Hands-on experience with at least one 3D rendering technology, such as Three.js, WebGL/WebGPU, OpenGL, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
Knowledge of 3D geometry, rendering pipelines, shaders, 3D transformations, and performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with BIM, Revit, Tekla, SolidWorks, FreeCAD, Rhino, or related construction technology will be an advantage.
Experience using AI development tools and modern software development practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently on technical challenges, and deliver tasks on schedule.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Programmer.
