Location: Remote, anywhere in New Zealand

Contract: Through to December, with strong likelihood of extension

Start: ASAP, ideally within 2 weeks

About the opportunity

Our client is delivering one of the largest transformation programmes currently underway in New Zealand, modernising critical infrastructure and services at a national scale. We're seeking experienced Senior Project Coordinators to support delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams within this multi-year programme, genuinely significant, high-impact work with strong long-term potential.

The role

You'll provide senior-level project coordination support across a complex, fast-moving transformation environment, including:

Supporting governance processes and reporting; tracking and managing risks, issues and dependencies (RAID logs); maintaining project plans and delivery documentation; coordinating across multiple stakeholders and workstreams; and producing accurate, high-quality documentation under time pressure.

What we're looking for

Essential: proven senior-level project coordination experience; strong organisational skills managing multiple priorities and deadlines; experience supporting governance and reporting processes; ability to track risks, issues and dependencies; strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; experience with delivery tools (project plans, RAID logs, reporting); high attention to detail.

Desirable: experience within large-scale transformation programmes or portfolios; background in digital, technology or critical-service environments; familiarity with Agile or Waterfall delivery methodologies; relevant project management/coordination certifications.
