Senior Project Coordinator-Project management

Salary: RM 4,600 – RM 6,000 per month

About the role

We are seeking a senior Project Coordinator to support the project management team in planning, executing, and monitoring related IT projects. This role ensures smooth workflows across technical, compliance, and business teams, maintaining documentation, schedules, and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project schedules, timelines, and deliverables across multiple Software projects

• Prepare Gantt charts, dashboards, and project documentation

• Monitor risks, dependencies, and blockers; escalate issues promptly

• Act as liaison between technical teams, the project team, and business stakeholders

• Provide clear updates and status reports to management and external partners

• Organise and document meetings, distributing minutes and action items

• Ensure projects adhere to Malaysian legal frameworks for IT support

• Maintain audit-ready records for regulators and internal compliance

• Support onboarding of new project team members with technical processes, process flows, and templates

• Coordinate with vendors, CMS/back-office providers, and IT technical support teams

About you

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field (preferred)

• 2+ years in project coordination or IT software, or fast-paced industries

• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, or software implementation or Agile/Scrum certification (advantageous)

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, CMS platforms, Microsoft Project, and Excel

• Strong verbal and written communication, organisation, time management, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision

• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python)
