Currently, we are bidding for Railway projects across India. The position of Senior Project Director is the key position in these BIDs.
Missions/Main Duties
- Manage day-to-day progress across multiple massive engineering contract packages (Civil, Track, Signaling, and Traction).
- Monitor project master schedules, identify critical path delays, and enforce recovery plans on lagging contractors.
- Manage contract conditions strictly, processing contractor claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT) requests for the CPD's final approval.
- Validate monthly progress bills, invoice milestones, and cost-to-complete forecasts across packages.
- Maintain regular operational reporting and alignment with Chief Engineers and project managers from the client side (e.g., RVNL, DFCCIL, Metro Corporations).
- Enforce stringent quality assurance (QA/QC) programs and zero-tolerance health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols across all active sites.
Profile/Skills
- Graduate Degree in Civil with minimum of 15 years of experience in construction industry.
- He/She should have worked as project director or equivalent position for 3years in Railways/Highways Projects.
OR
- He/She should have At least 5 years’ experience in JAG or equivalent Grade or above in Civil Engineering or in equivalent grade in Indian Railways/RITES/ IRCON/ RVNL or equivalent grades in Konkan Railway/ MRVC/ DFCCIL/any JVs/ SPVs with Ministry of Railways/State govt, any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined for respective engineering positions mentioned
