- Delivery oversight for a defined portfolio of complex capital projects across one or more assets, ensuring alignment with agreed technical, commercial, and schedule objectives.
- Coordination of multi-disciplinary engineering inputs to support project execution, without assuming line-management responsibility for Assala Energy personnel.
- Execution of feasibility studies, concept selection, pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed engineering activities, including development of the Basis of Design, project philosophies, and technical specifications.
- Technical review, checking, and acceptance of process engineering deliverables produced by external engineering consultancies, including designs, drawings, calculations, and technical data, ensuring compliance with applicable international standards and codes of practice.
- Preparation of cost estimates, execution strategies, and project plans covering all project phases, with defined assumptions, risks, and contingencies.
- Advisory support to Assala Energy relating to resource planning, including identification of specialist skills required to achieve project outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Monitoring and control of project performance against agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks, with early identification of risks and delivery impacts.
- Identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks and change events, with preparation of clear recommendations to support decision-making.
- Engagement with external vendors and contractors, including technical evaluations, support to commercial negotiations, and advisory input to procurement decisions.
- Review and approval of engineering design changes and technical deviations in line with project governance.
- Contribution to the development and refinement of engineering execution methodologies, standards, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Advisory support during installation, commissioning, testing, and handover activities, as required to meet defined project completion criteria.
