The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Energy & Utilities Business, managing distribution network, secondary systems, substation and transmissions projects across Sydney.

Reporting in the Senior Project Manager this is a permanent fulltime role based out of our Eastern Creek office with regular site travel required.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects in Sydney in a safe, timely, cost effective and innovative manner. Role requirements include leading the development of tender submissions and project delivery including: scope management, design management, determining construction methodologies, financial WBS and schedule development, request for quotations, cost estimation, risk assessment and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, development and implementation project plans and overall delivery responsibility for assigned projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • Electrical/Civil Engineering Degree is preferred

  • Diploma qualification in Project Management

  • CPPM certification with AIPM

  • Extensive Energy Supply Industry experience

  • Demonstrated competence in project management including:

    • Financial management, budgeting and reporting
    • Risk management
    • Subcontract / Procurement management
    • Management of OH&S, quality and environmental aspects
    • Resolution of industrial relations and human resource issues
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6, Expert Estimator, @Risk analysis

  • Understanding of relevant AS/NZ/ISO standards and Victorian Electrical Industry legislation

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management and Environmental principles

  • Valid driver’s license
