Senior Project Engineer (Electrical, Data Center)

Oversee electrical engineering for data center construction projects, coordinating teams and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
We are representing a subcontractor to hire for a Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) with experience in Data Center projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee electrical engineering works for data centre construction projects
- Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (e.g., LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications
- Track project progress, resolve site issues, and support schedule and cost control
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site teams
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum 2-6 years of experience in data centre / mission-critical projects, with a strong electrical focus
- Experience working for subcontractors or on-site project execution roles preferred
- Solid understanding of electrical systems installation and coordination within construction environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skill
