\n About the Role\n
As a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer at Ethos, you will work within Data Centresector. Have a thorough grasp of electrical design and engineering techniques. With a confidence in working independently and in support of the team, ensuring successful completion of designs to meet construction timelines and requirements.
\nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects. \n
- Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors. \n
- Produce detailed schematics. \n
- Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation. \n
- Mentor junior engineering staff. \n
- Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion. \n
- Tender report/analysis/recommendations. \n
- Develop project scope with the design team/client. \n
- Confidently use Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT. \n
- Produce budgets and reports for clients. \n
- Attend site visits. \n
- Take lead on projects with minimal input from the management team. \n
- \n
- Honours Degree – Chartered an advantage but not essential. \n
- 10+ years as a Senior Engineer. \n
- Must haveelectrical building services design experience within Data Centreengineering projects. \n
- In-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques. \n
- Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards. \n
- Working knowledge of Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT an advantage. \n
- Confident leading projects from the concept stage to completion. \n
- Communicative and able to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers. \n
- Manage the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projects. \n
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills. \n
