About the Job
As a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer at Ethos, you will work within Data Centre sector. Have a thorough grasp of electrical design and engineering techniques. With a confidence in working independently and in support of the team, ensuring successful completion of designs to meet construction timelines and requirements.
Responsibilities:

Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects.

Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors.

Produce detailed schematics.
-
Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation.

Mentor junior engineering staff.
-
Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion.

Tender report/analysis/recommendations.
-
Develop project scope with the design team/client.
-
Confidently use Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT.

Produce budgets and reports for clients.
-
Attend site visits.
-
Take lead on projects with minimal input from the management team.
About You
-
Honours Degree – Chartered an advantage but not essential.
-
10+ years as a Senior Engineer.
-
Must have electrical building services design experience within Data Centre engineering projects.
-
In-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.
-
Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.
-
Working knowledge of Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT an advantage.
-
Confident leading projects from the concept stage to completion.

Communicative and able to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers.

Manage the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projects.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
