Senior Project Engineer
Responsibility:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing M&E works.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to the Project Manager.
- Review and assist in approving technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure M&E works comply with specifications and quality standards.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
- Assist in testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes of practice.
- Conduct or assist in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Address safety concerns and ensure adherence to project safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, claims, and submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities and resource allocation.
- Work closely with project team members to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as required.
- Any job tasks or duties assigned by Superior or above.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in M&E project coordination or management.
- Familiarity with construction and engineering practices.
