Job Summary

Join as a Project Engineer supporting high-tech engineering projects involving gas, chemical, UHP piping, mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Gain hands-on experience in site coordination, project execution, cost control, and safety management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and supervising site works from project initiation to handover to ensure smooth operations
  • Support installation and integration of gas/chemical systems, mechanical works, electrical/control systems, and facility hook-up activities
  • Independently manage project operations to deliver on schedule while controlling costs and maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Compile technical and commercial offers aligned with customer requirements for tender submissions in collaboration with internal teams
  • Prepare and present clarifications and engage in technical and commercial negotiations with customers to secure project agreements
  • Calculate total project costs and assist in setting tender budgets covering time, resources, and expenses
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to support proposal presentations and documentation completeness
  • Conduct risk analysis and develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals to mitigate project risks
  • Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and incorporate continuous improvement feedback
  • Prepare and submit detailed technical reports, including hand-sketching mechanical details for clarity and accuracy
  • Liaise with contractors and supervise skilled workers to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other design tools to support technical planning and design activities
  • Provide regular progress updates to management and contribute to feasibility studies for technical solutions
  • Apply creative problem-solving and information gathering to develop effective engineering solutions
  • Support development and implementation of engineering and maintenance strategies to resolve equipment issues

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD to assist in design and technical planning
  • Strong technical report writing skills to document project progress and findings
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, independent work attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Fresh graduates or experienced engineering professionals are welcome to apply
