Senior Project Engineer

A growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead grid connection and technical development for onshore wind and solar PV projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience in project engineering, strong knowledge of grid connection, and background in renewables. Responsibilities include managing grid connection processes, coordinating technical documentation, and acting as a liaison between development and engineering teams. This is a permanent position based in Milan, Lombardy, Italy. Manage grid connection processes and interface with DSOs/TSOs. Coordinate grid studies, applications, and technical documentation. Support permitting and authorisation from a technical standpoint. Act as technical interface between development, external engineers, and authorities. Provide technical input across multiple projects in parallel. 5-8+ years' experience as a Project Engineer/Grid Engineer in renewables. Strong background in grid connection, electrical scope, and technical development. Experience with wind and/or solar PV.
