Senior Project Manager – Low Voltage / Technology Infrastructure

Sarasota, FL (Southern Region: Sarasota to Fort Myers) | Full-Time | $90,000–$110,000 DOE + Bonus

Advanced Cable Connection, Inc. (ACCI) is a technology infrastructure contractor delivering structured cabling, fiber optics, AV, security, and IT integration. Our Southern Region serves K-12 schools, airports, government facilities, and commercial customers from Sarasota to Fort Myers.

We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead our regional project management team. You’ll run your own portfolio of projects and develop two project managers into strong, independent performers. This position is based out of our Sarasota office.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable two project managers. Review their projects, budgets, and schedules, and build their skills.

• Run projects from estimator turnover through close-out and final billing, including scope review, takeoffs, scheduling, submittals, permitting coordination, and as-builts.

• Own project financial performance: labor-hour budgets, material procurement, change orders, and margin.

• Manage end-user service accounts. Keep customers responsive and satisfied, and turn relationships into repeat work.

• Coordinate with general contractors, electrical contractors, engineers, inspectors, distributors, and manufacturers.

• Lead field crews and enforce installation standards. Expect regular time on job sites, including putting tools on when the job needs it.

• Standardize regional processes so projects run consistently regardless of who manages them.

Required

• 5+ years of project management in the low-voltage industry, covering both construction projects and service-driven customer accounts

• Experience leading or mentoring other project managers, supervisors, or crew leads

• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change orders

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Hands-on knowledge of copper and fiber installation, termination, and testing

• Ability to pass Level 2 background screening (FDLE/FBI fingerprinting) for K-12 work under the Jessica Lunsford Act, and to obtain airport security badging (SIDA)

• Ability to pass a drug screen

• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

Preferred

• BICSI credentials (TECH, INST, or RCDD)

• Industry or manufacturer certifications (e.g., FASA/BASA, Leviton, Panduit, Corning)

• Experience with K-12, airport, or government facility projects

• Experience with physical security, access control, or AV systems

• Experience with project management or field service software

No degree required. We value proven field and project experience.
