About this Role:
Consertus is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale amenities building projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for driving project performance across scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction while serving as the primary leader for internal teams, consultants, trade partners, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects involving amenity spaces such as clubhouses, fitness centers, community centers, hospitality-inspired facilities, recreational buildings, and mixed-use support facilities. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered with the quality, innovation, and client-focused service that define the Consertus brand. This is an onsite/hybrid role based in Tarrytown, NY.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple amenities building projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Provide strategic leadership to project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
Drive accountability across project stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ownership groups, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Lead project meetings, status updates, progress reviews, and executive-level presentations.
Financial Management
Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and financial reporting.
Review and approve estimates, change orders, pay applications, and subcontractor agreements.
Identify and mitigate financial risks while maximizing project profitability.
Schedule & Delivery Management
Establish and maintain master project schedules.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Coordinate activities between design teams, procurement partners, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Quality & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and project specifications.
Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
Oversee project documentation, contract administration, and regulatory compliance.
Team Development
Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project support staff.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Promote continuous improvement and best practices across projects and teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive construction project management experience.
5+ years successfully managing amenities, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, recreation, or community facility projects.
Demonstrated experience managing projects exceeding $20M in value.
Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, CCM, LEED, or similar industry certification.
Experience with design-build and integrated project delivery methods.
Familiarity with data-driven reporting and project controls.
Working Hours / Compensation Range
Full-Time; on-site/hybrid;
Compensation range based on skills, education and experience and may vary; $140,000-$200,000 annually.
