Senior Project Manager

Lead one or more projects aimed at redesigning existing business processes or implementing new ones. Manage the day-to-day project activities. Act as the primary point of contact for project execution and the achievement of project objectives. Main Responsibilities Define the essential project processes: Define a detailed scope and manage the changes made throughout the project. Define the needs of the organisation and customers, prioritise them and align them with a well-established release plan. Identify the stakeholders involved and define their authority and responsibilities. Develop and maintain a high-quality, detailed project schedule. Ensure that deadlines are met: Develop a plan outlining the key milestones. Develop a schedule for the different project phases. Assess the resources required based on the business case: Define and manage the budget, resources and staffing levels. Adjust resources where necessary. Implement quality controls and mitigate risks: Define quality standards that the project deliverables must meet. Be responsible for the delivery of project deliverables and the final completion of the project. Risk management: assess critical success factors and risks, and address them by establishing and monitoring KPIs. Organise the tasks of the project team hierarchically and/or functionally: Stimulate and motivate the employees involved in the project. Organise and monitor the macro-planning of the project and the employees involved. Provide the necessary project documentation to all stakeholders throughout the successive project phases: Communicate project progress. Stakeholder management: identify stakeholders and take potential conflicts of interest into account. Secure stakeholder buy-in. Deliver and obtain acceptance of the requested project outcome: Deliver the project and its related documentation. Evaluate the project as a whole and draw lessons for the future.
