Senior Project Manager - Civils & Superstructure

The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of major civil and superstructure packages on a complex stadium programme in Riyadh.
Unlike the dedicated night-shift construction roles, this is a broader project/package management position combining hands-on construction delivery with project management and coordination responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage civil and superstructure packages through construction and delivery.
• Provide day-to-day project and package management leadership.
• Monitor construction progress against programme and agreed deliverables.
• Ensure required design information is available to support construction.
• Coordinate interfaces between design, construction and other project packages.
• Identify constraints and actively drive resolution of delivery issues.
• Work closely with contractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Maintain a strong presence on site while managing wider project requirements.
• Monitor package risks, interfaces, programme and delivery performance.
• Provide clear reporting and escalation of key project issues.
• Support successful completion and handover of assigned works.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional membership or chartership desirable.
• Significant project management experience on major construction programmes.
• Strong civil engineering and superstructure delivery background.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex construction packages.
• Strong understanding of both design and construction interfaces.
• Able to identify problems, coordinate stakeholders and drive solutions.
• Ideally combines a strong contractor/construction background with subsequent PMC or client-side experience.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Major programme experience within Saudi Arabia or the Middle East advantageous.
