Location: Edmonton, AB – Remote, with onsite meetings 3–4 times/month as required
Work Location: 7000 – 113 St, Edmonton, Alberta
Contract: Approximately 1,805 hours
Hours: 36.25 hours/week, 7.25 hours/day

Work Eligibility: Must work from within Canada
Travel: Up to 15%
Extension: Up to 6 months
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple AI, Microsoft 365 and Cloud-related IT projects from analysis through implementation.
- Develop project charters, business/project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans and governance.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, interdependencies and escalations.
- Coordinate business and technical stakeholders, vendors, sponsors and leadership.
- Ensure projects align with GoA policies, enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Lead Agile and Waterfall projects and provide PMO-compliant reporting.
- Support change management, communications and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare presentations and deliverables for steering committees and senior leadership.
- Support requirements gathering, process improvement and documentation.
- Apply security controls, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity considerations.
- Provide recommendations on methodology, resources, dependencies and policy impacts.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- PMP certification – Mandatory
- 10+ years developing project schedules.
- 10+ years identifying, analyzing and managing risks on large, complex projects.
- 5+ years implementing cloud-based projects/services at large scale.
- 12 years combined education/PMP experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
