Summary
Senior Project Manager leading complex technical/ICT project delivery on a 12-month contract in a large Australian government technology environment — managing multidisciplinary teams, schedules, budgets, risks and stakeholders. Requires SFIA Level 6 delivery management, OpenShift and Microsoft knowledge, and a current Baseline security clearance.
Salary: AUD 120 - 170 per hour
Senior Project Manager | Technical DeliveryLead complex ICT project delivery as a Senior Project Manager, managing technical teams, schedules, budgets, risks and stakeholder outcomes across a large government technology environment. This is a 12-month contract with Canberra preferred and Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne also considered.
Location: Canberra, ACT; Adelaide, SA; Brisbane, QLD; Melbourne, VIC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid may be considered, with the ability to attend onsite as required. Canberra is the preferred location.
Contract Duration: 12 months
Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance

Essential Tasks
- Lead the delivery of complex technical projects and services aligned with business objectives.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones and delivery processes.
- Lead multidisciplinary technical teams including developers, engineers and other specialists.
- Identify and manage delivery risks, escalate issues and provide clear project status reporting.
- 3–5 years of Technical Delivery Management experience in a complex ICT environment.
- Strong project management capability at SFIA Level 6, including financial and resource control.
- Knowledge and understanding of OpenShift container platform infrastructure and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong requirements and stakeholder relationship management capability at SFIA Level 5.
