Senior Project Manager | Data Centre & Infrastructure

Lead multi-site deployments of physical tech infrastructure, coordinating hardware builds, installations, and go-live for national projects.
Salary: Circa $130 – $150/hour per skills & experience
About the role
This is an opportunity to lead complex physical infrastructure projects within a significant national technology programme. Working within a global technology services environment, you will manage the deployment of hardware and technology configurations across multiple sites. You will take ownership from planning and site readiness through physical build, installation, commissioning and go-live. You will work closely with customers, technical teams and third-party delivery partners across infrastructure areas including network, storage and compute.
Key responsibilities
Lead multiple infrastructure projects through the full delivery lifecycle
Develop and manage detailed plans, critical paths, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies
Coordinate technical teams, vendors and delivery partners across multiple sites
Maintain commercial oversight across project costs, revenue, forecasting and performance
Build strong customer relationships and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders
Resolve delivery challenges and keep projects moving across concurrent workstreams
About you
Direct, hands-on experience leading multi-site deployments of physical technology infrastructure
Experience covering site readiness, infrastructure build, hardware deployment, commissioning and go-live
The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different infrastructure technologies
Strong customer-facing communication, commercial awareness and stakeholder-management skills
Experience across data-centre infrastructure, network, storage, compute, telecommunications or similarly complex site-based environments will be highly regarded
Ideally, experience within technology consulting, professional services, systems integration or managed services
