Senior Project Manager (DFW)

Lead the projects others can’t — with a team that has your back.

Plenty of fabricators will hand you a project list. Patriot hands you real ownership: multiple parallel projects, vendors and subcontractors, change orders, client relationships — and the modern tools and people-first culture to deliver it all. If you’ve spent a decade in structural steel and you’re ready for a senior seat in DFW, let’s talk.

Why Patriot — Not the Other Guys

Dual AISC certification. Certified Fabricator AND Advanced Certified Erector since 1991 — one accountable team from shop drawings to topped-out steel. Most shops can only claim half of that.

People-first, for real. Free, confidential mental-health support (Nivati EAP) for you and your family, Blue Points wellness rewards, pet insurance, and the Craig Cobb College Scholarship — benefits most fabricators don’t offer.

Modern tools, not spreadsheets. Tekla Structures, Tekla EPM, Trimble Connect, and FabSuite — we invest in the stack so you run the work instead of chasing paperwork.

Room to rise. Divisions across Texas — Central Texas HQ, DFW, Houston, San Antonio — plus leadership training, Udemy learning, and AISC membership for every Patriot employee.

A name that opens doors. 30+ years of quality, safety, and pride in every project — the kind of reputation that makes clients (and careers) stick.

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager for our DFW division, you’ll lead multiple high-value structural steel projects in parallel — from project setup and fabrication scheduling through change orders and closeout — while building the client and vendor relationships that earn repeat work and driving process improvements that strengthen the whole company.

What You’ll Own

Multi-Project Leadership: Manage multiple parallel projects using formal project planning techniques — on scope, on time, on budget.

Project Setup & Scheduling: Set up projects in the PE system and establish fabrication schedules and objectives.

Vendors & Subcontractors: Review and assess vendor proposals, coordinate subcontractors, and manage vendor relationships end to end.

Commercial Management: Negotiate change orders and protect each project’s financial outcome.

Stakeholder Communication: Report progress on production, financial, quality, and safety goals to internal and external stakeholders; prepare and present project and program information to groups inside and outside the company.

Client Relationships: Establish and maintain customer relationships that turn one project into the next.

Process Improvement: Lead improvements with few precedents and enterprise-wide impact — you’ll shape how Patriot delivers.

Resources & Capacity: Identify resource and equipment requirements, drive efficient capacity planning, and manage software and hardware availability.

Safety Integration: Build safety into every plan, schedule, and decision — Safety leads our STEEL values.
