Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Our client, a scaling technology business, is launching an AI-powered enhancement to its flagship product. Following previous launches that fell short of expectations, they're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead this launch end-to-end and establish the delivery discipline needed to do it right.

There is currently no formal PMO or delivery methodology in place, this is a build-from-scratch opportunity for someone who wants to shape how projects get delivered, not just execute against an existing framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of a major AI product launch, from planning through to go-to-market
• Establish project methodology, governance, and milestone tracking where none currently exists
• Coordinate closely with Legal, Finance, Product, and Engineering, pulling in stakeholders as required
• Identify and help shape commercial/revenue opportunities linked to the launch
• Engage directly with customers to gather and validate product requirements
• Report progress, risks, and issues directly to the CFO
• Partner with the Product function, which retains ownership of roadmap and milestones - this role drives delivery execution

About You

• Proven experience delivering a product or major project launch, ideally within a scale-up, product-led, or mid-sized business
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills - this is a business-facing PM role, not a technical one
• Comfortable enough with technology to engage credibly with engineering, without needing to be hands-on technical
• Experience in cross-functional delivery highly regarded - business analysis, change management, or similar
• A self-starter who thrives building process and structure from the ground up
• Demonstrated ability to work closely and effectively with senior finance/executive stakeholders
