Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Effectively manage projects within the Settlement & SWIFT project portfolio.
Ensure effective and smooth implementation of projects in line with the agreed Project Development Life Cycle.
• Co-ordination of resources within
o Settlement & SWIFT
o Chief Digital Office Payments S&S IT and
o External parties – both internal and external to the Bank for the duration of the various projects.

• Apply best of breed Project Management principles, ensuring that good project management governance is maintained
• Manage the S&S Project pipeline & co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders to set the priority of projects on the pipeline taking resource planning into consideration
• Co-ordinate activities and various processes required to ensure that projects are delivered on time, as per S&S business and stakeholder requirements, and manage expectations accordingly
• Ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, collation, distribution, storage and communication of project artefacts
• Manage project artefacts effectively for traceability and audit purposes
• Communicate with Project Stakeholders for the project duration
• Ensure that all projects are properly closed out and any learning/s documented. Learnings are communicated to relevant parties for rectification and/or implementation
• Ensure timely and appropriate collation, reconciliation, query resolution and communication of financial information relevant to IT and project costs
• Build a strong network of working relationships
• Interact with S&S internal stakeholders at varying levels within the organisation on project related matters, and with external stakeholders where necessary.
