We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager with a proven history of leading large-scale Big Data platform migration or vendor replacement projects within the Hadoop/Cloudera domain. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in project management, budget planning, and risk management, alongside superior analytical and communication skills. The role demands a proactive approach to ensure project delivery that meets both timelines and expectations.
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate the vendor change as project manager.
Plan and manage delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and risks.
Plan and manage the project budget and financial forecasting.
Monitor delivery progress and risks, proactively identifying issues and escalating when necessary.
Promote a strong delivery culture through disciplined project management.
Facilitate project team meetings.
Conduct progress reporting and SteerCo reporting.
Key Requirements
Proven track record in leading large-scale platform migration or vendor replacement projects within the Hadoop/Cloudera domain.
Strong risk and issue management skills.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders and driving follow-ups.
Exceptional stakeholder and executive management skills.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Demonstrated ownership of projects with a proactive, can-do attitude.
