At HGC Construction, we’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who can lead large, complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You bring strategic leadership to the project team, take ownership of financial performance and risk, and keep people focused on delivering exceptional work safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What You’ll Build

• Lead large, complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, driving successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project teams.

• Partner with Preconstruction during bidding, subcontractor procurement, buyout, and scope review.

• Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change management.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key project stakeholders.

• Oversee project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, procurement logs, and project records using Procore and other project management tools.

• Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions that keep projects moving forward.

• Ensure compliance with Owner Contracts, company policies, and all OSHA, EPA, ODH, and site-specific safety requirements.

• Support business development efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support successful project and company outcomes.
