Senior Project Manager
Senior Marketing Project Manager
About the Role
We're looking for a highly organized and collaborative Senior Marketing Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives across our consumer/retail brand. You'll sit at the center of our marketing org, keeping cross-functional teams aligned and ensuring every project lands on time, on budget, and on brand.
What You'll Do
Project & Campaign Management
- Own end-to-end project management for integrated marketing campaigns — from seasonal launches and product releases to in-store activations and digital initiatives.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets across multiple simultaneous workstreams.
- Track milestones, flag risks early, and drive resolution to keep projects on schedule.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, E-commerce, Retail Operations, and external agencies or vendors.
- Lead kickoff meetings, weekly standups, and stakeholder reviews; create clear recaps and action items.
- Manage intake and prioritization of marketing requests across the team.
Process & Operations
- Develop and improve project management processes, templates, and workflows to increase team efficiency and consistency.
- Maintain a centralized marketing calendar and ensure visibility across stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with agencies, printers, and production vendors — including SOWs, timelines, and deliverable reviews.
Budget Management
- Track campaign and departmental budgets; process POs and invoices in coordination with Finance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize spend without compromising quality or timelines.
Performance & Reporting
- Partner with channel owners to track campaign KPIs and compile post-mortems.
- Present project status updates and retrospectives to senior leadership.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 5–7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a marketing environment (consumer goods, retail, or CPG strongly preferred).
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
- Expertise with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar).
- Exceptional organizational skills — you can juggle a dozen projects without dropping the ball.
- Strong communicator who can influence without authority and keep teams motivated under deadline pressure.
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors.
Preferred
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with retail marketing calendars, seasonal planning, and promotional cycles.
- Experience with DAM systems, creative briefing workflows, and brand guidelines.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and basic reporting.
