Senior Project Manager
Key responsibilities
Lead end-to-end processes from design to implementation of core insurance platform enhancements, manage insurance product development lifecycles, and oversee AI/Insurtech integration initiatives
Enhance processes and ensure all projects adhere to governance frameworks
Manage project scope, prioritization, timelines, risks, budgets, issues, dependencies, and ensure compliance with technological and operational requirements
Collaborate with internal departments and manage third-party vendors to ensure smooth delivery of system development projects and alignment with business strategies
Coordinate system development, SIT, UAT, release planning, and provide post-implementation support for platform upgrades
Report project progress and key metrics to senior management and steering committees
About you
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience in the Insurance or Banking sector, with strong background in product development and core platform architecture
Proven track record in platform enhancement and AI/Fintech initiatives
Strong technical expertise in insurance systems, project governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Experience in leading System Architecture Board (SAB) and Change Approval Board (CAB) is an advantage
Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent is preferred
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
Strong stakeholder management skills, analytical thinking, and proficiency in project management tools
