Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager in Project Management, you will be responsible for leading the execution of construction and workplace projects, ensuring quality, cost, safety, and scheduling objectives are met. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage site operations, and foster a collaborative and high-performing project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution:Mall specified A&A projects as assigned by Client Management team

  • Develop, plan and implement projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Master programme
    • Establish (with Client Management Team direction), maintain and update the master programme via Microsoft (“MS”) Project (provided by Buyer) for all key A&A and Tenancy projects (list of projects to be provided

Coordination:

Assigned specified A&A projects:

  • Lead the delivery of Food & Beverage (“F&B”) projects, including coordination of specialized fit-outs, equipment installation, and operational handover.
  • Manage specified A&A projects include shop subdivisions and combinations, Buyer operated shop design and fit-out, base build mechanical, electrical and plumbing (“MEP”) modifications to suit incoming retailer needs (such as additional plumbing and drainage or power upgrades), duplex creation, front of house mall modifications and any other retailer related small projects.
  • Monitor and oversee the full tendering process, including collaboration with Buyer’s consultants for preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and contractor selection.
  • Provide strong construction management oversight, ensuring quality control, progress monitoring, and adherence to timelines throughout the construction phase including defects rectification.
  • Collaborate internally with Buyer’s Mall Management team and other stakeholders such as Procurement, Legal and Facilities Management in order to determine the project requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate externally with Buyer’s appointed consultants and contractors to manage the design and deliver the project in a compliant manner within budget.
  • Manage contractors and consultants to obtain necessary permits and licenses with the appropriate Macau authorities.
  • Assist Client determining, applying and managing the project budget.
  • Maintain comprehensive project plan, programme, documentation and reports (as required) for the projects under your management;
  • Coordinate the timely handover of projects to Buyer’s Mall Management (or stakeholder as assigned).
  • Oversee and liaise with contractors, ensuring that work is carried out as per specifications and with minimal disruption to mall operations.

Master Programme:

  • Collaborate internally with Client Management Team and other stakeholders such as DPM and Facilities Management in order to report project status against the master programme;
  • Report status against master programme to Client Management Team on a weekly basis using system

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure that all works comply with both the local building codes and safety regulations and Buyer’s safety standards
  • Monitor and manage any risks associated with your specific projects
  • Degree in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Building science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing A&A, retail/F&B/mall projects in Macau
  • Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Proven experience leading small to medium-sized construction projects of low to medium complexity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Proficiency in MS Project.
