Senior Project Manager: Medical Communications
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex medical communications programmes across a range of pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client accounts and project workstreams simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, status reports, hot sheets, Statements of Work (SOWs), and financial tracking documentation.
- Lead publications project management activities, including manuscripts, abstracts and posters, ensuring adherence to publication timelines, author review cycles, journal submission requirements and Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines.
- Coordinate advisory board programmes end to end, including planning, logistics, briefing materials, meeting execution and post-meeting reporting.
- Oversee the delivery of a broad range of medical communications materials, including slide decks, training materials and medical education content.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation and cross-functional teams across a portfolio of programmes.
- Support and facilitate MLR review processes, ensuring compliance requirements are met and client review cycles progress efficiently.
- Identify, communicate and proactively manage project risks, scope changes and delivery challenges.
Experience & Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years' project management experience within a medical communications agency or a related healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong experience managing publications programmes, advisory boards and medical communications deliverables.
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management, resource planning and financial tracking.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements, including MLR review processes.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
