Senior Project Manager (Network/Infrastructure)
Summary
Leads end-to-end network and infrastructure projects deploying hardware and configurations across many sites, owning schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication while coordinating global teams and partners. Focus areas include data center buildouts/relocations, AI infrastructure, and large multi-site rollouts.
About the role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for running projects that deploy hardware and configurations to multiple sites. The individual will be required to engage and work with global teams and partners, across a large distributed and matrixed organization. The Senior Project Manager will exhibit leadership qualities and be accountable for the successful execution of projects in region, to schedule, budget and quality. They should be able to demonstrate strong presentation and public speaking skills, for example chairing internal and external meetings.
Key responsibilities
Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
Manage project scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations
Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
Manage project resources, including staff, contractors, and vendors
Ensure that project team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities
Foster a positive team environment and promote teamwork
About you
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field
Minimum 15+ years of IT or Network Project Management experience
Experience in a professional services environment
Prior experience of working in projects dealing with DC buildout / DC relocation
SI background
Strong background of managing external customers
Extensive experience in handling large scale and complex projects as a Senior Project Manager in Network, Infrastructure, Data Center background
Experience with AI Infrastructure Project experience
Familiarity with managing key project financial components (cost and revenue) to ensure projects are delivered within budget
Experience in managing projects with over 100 sites spanning world
