Senior Project Manager (Power Generation / Infrastructure / Engineering) – Caribbean
Summary
Senior Project Manager leading capital and infrastructure projects (up to CI$90M) in power generation and energy transition for a Caribbean electric utility, managing multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver on time, budget, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise project support staff within the Engineering & Business Development Department.
Manage medium to large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, including power generation expansions, facility renovations, new building additions, substations, and other mechanical and electrical engineering initiatives.
Ensure all projects are delivered in compliance with safety protocols, timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
Enforce adherence to company safety procedures and standards across project teams and contractors.
Provide engineering and project management support to internal departments as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 15 years of experience in engineering and/or project management within industrial construction, production environments, or process optimization.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with electric utility operations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.
