About Role


The Senior Project Manager — Professional Services is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading and executing complex, customer-facing implementation projects across Veryon’s product portfolio.


This role owns projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring delivery stays on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining strong customer relationships and stakeholder alignment. The Senior Project Manager will manage internal and external resources, oversee project governance, and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.


In addition to managing their own portfolio of projects, this role will provide coaching, guidance, and escalation support to the broader Onboarding team, helping strengthen project management practices and improve delivery efficiency across Professional Services.


Job Duties


End-to-End Implementation Delivery

  • Lead complex, customer-facing implementation projects across Tracking, Tracking+, and Diagnostics from kickoff through go-live.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining delivery timelines, quality, scope, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Partner closely with Onboarding teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation to steady-state adoption.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, status meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Proactively manage customer expectations, concerns, risks, and escalations.

Project Planning & Governance

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular project status reviews to ensure alignment across customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure projects are accurately scoped and delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain structured project governance and apply consistent project management methodologies.

Documentation & Change Control

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including meeting minutes, decisions, project plans, risks, issues, and change control records.
  • Manage scope changes, change orders, and project modifications as they arise.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders.

Resource & Risk Management

  • Own project resource allocation and coordination across internal teams.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and potential delivery issues.
  • Escalate significant risks, blockers, and customer concerns to the appropriate leadership stakeholders.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point when projects require additional judgment or intervention.

Onboarding Partnership & Team Enablement

  • Work closely with the Onboarding teams to align implementation delivery with the customer's broader journey.
  • Coach and guide onboarding team members on project management standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and practical guidance even without formal people-management authority.
  • Own weekly delegation of project work across the PM team and help ensure appropriate prioritization of resources.

AI-Enabled Project Management

  • Incorporate AI tools into daily project management workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Use AI to support activities such as project status tracking, documentation, planning, communication drafting, meeting preparation, and information synthesis.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve Professional Services and Onboarding processes.
