Senior Project Manager
Summary
Senior Project Manager joining a large government body in Geelong (WFH hybrid) to deliver a major transformation program modernising core claims systems. Day to day: managing end-to-end delivery, budgets, risks and vendors across concurrent projects using Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches, with governance and executive reporting.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a large governemnt body to deliver a significant transformation program. You'll lead business and technology projects that modernise core claims systems, improve processes and deliver better outcomes for customers and employees.
The role
- Manage end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
- Own project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Lead cross-functional teams using Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery approaches.
- Build strong relationships with executives, business leaders, technology teams and external vendors.
- Provide clear governance, reporting and recommendations to steering committees.
- Partner with change specialists to support business readiness and adoption.
About you
- Demonstrated success delivering complex business and technology transformation projects.
- Strong senior project management experience, including managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organisations.
- Strong financial management, governance, risk management and vendor management skills.
- Experience leading and coaching cross-functional teams.
- PRINCE2 and/or Agile certification.
- Experience in insurance, health, disability or government is highly desirable.
