Job Overview:
The objective of the Senior PM is to provide strategic leadership for their teams on managing Installation Projects from start to completion. This leader will work with the VP of Operations to help oversee long and short-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies.
Responsibilities:
All of the following bullet points pertain to local and out-of-town projects.
- Serves as the single contact point for all projects with 10 workstations and above.
- Participates in overall project planning and design meetings, providing input as appropriate.
- Reviews final floor plans for accuracy and completeness.
- Manages the overall project schedule.
- Contacts clients on start date and/or attends weekly OAC meetings.
- Troubleshoots with manufacturer reps, installers, and/or support team staff to resolve any and all problems in a timely manner.
- Develops and maintains a complete and accurate record of the project schedule, product orders, delivery tickets, daily progress reports, documents punch via PlanGrid and punch spreadsheet, etc.
- Utilizes CORE operating system and other database programs with all pertinent project information.
- Communicates information effectively so that project stakeholders and team members can take appropriate action.
- Leads the Pre Installation Meeting with Installation Leads, Design, and PC, to understand the project plan, review drawings, and orders.
- Tracks project status/progress against scheduled progress.
- Identifies, assesses, analyzes, and manages the risk of the project.
- During project planning, updates project schedule to identify lead time issues that may affect the schedule and client move-in date.
- Communicates with building management to learn COI requirements, building and dock limitations, and reserving elevators.
- Provides a copy of the final order and install drawings to the installation lead to limit questions back and forth to support team.
- Monitors status of job completion through punch items.
- Travels out of town as necessary for projects.
- Works with out-of-town clients, installation partners, and provides all drawings and paperwork necessary for the project.
