Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant data transformation initiative within a complex enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused Project Manager with strong experience across data warehouses, data migration, data integration and data transformation.

The opportunity:
You will manage the project lifecycle from planning and mobilisation through to delivery, testing, implementation and transition. Working across Data, Technology and Business teams, you will ensure delivery remains on track and stakeholders have clear visibility of progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets and outcomes
• Manage data warehouse and data migration projects, including planning, dependencies, testing and cutover
• Coordinate Data, Technology and Business workstreams
• Work closely with Data Architects, Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts and testers
• Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies and change
• Provide clear project reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums
• Coordinate testing, data validation, defect resolution and implementation activities
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality and governance standards

About you:

You will be a confident Data Project Manager who can work comfortably across technical and business teams and understands the complexities of delivering data projects.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven experience delivering data-focused technology projects
• Strong experience with data migration and/or data warehouse projects
• Understanding of data migration activities including mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation
• Experience coordinating technical data teams and multiple project workstreams
• Strong stakeholder management, planning and governance skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the ability to manage risks and resolve issues
• Experience within a complex enterprise or transformation environment would be advantageous
