Senior Projects Manager (Fire Protection & M&E Services)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Direct and monitor multiple fire-protection and M&E construction projects concurrently.
  2. Lead project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site teams.
  3. Develop project execution plans, master programmes, budgets, resource plans and procurement schedules.
  4. Allocate manpower, materials and subcontractors according to project priorities.
  5. Monitor project costs, cash flow, variations, progress claims, risks and contractual obligations.
  6. Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, Qualified Persons, suppliers and relevant authorities.
  7. Oversee shop-drawing coordination, material submissions, method statements, inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
  8. Manage sprinkler, wet-riser, dry-riser, hose-reel and fire-alarm interface works.
  9. Ensure compliance with the Singapore Fire Code, SCDF/FSSD requirements, project specifications, quality requirements and workplace safety regulations.
  10. Resolve technical, commercial, coordination and site issues affecting project delivery.
  11. Review project-team and subcontractor performance and implement corrective measures.
  12. Provide management reports covering project progress, financial position, resource requirements and key risks.

Essential Requirements

  1. At least 10 years of relevant experience in fire-protection or M&E construction project delivery.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a project manager, senior project manager or equivalent leadership position.
  3. Proven experience managing multiple construction projects concurrently.
  4. Proven experience leading project managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
  5. Strong working knowledge of fire-protection systems, including sprinkler, wet-riser, dry-riser and hose-reel systems.
  6. Practical knowledge of Singapore Fire Code, SCDF/FSSD processes, inspections, testing and commissioning.
  7. Experience in project budgeting, cost control, procurement, variations, progress claims and subcontractor management.
  8. Ability to demonstrate completed projects, responsibilities, contract values and project-team sizes.
  9. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant project-management experience in fire protection and M&E services.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Certified Fire Safety Manager qualification.
  2. Relevant construction safety, project-management or quality-management certification.
