Senior Proposal Engineer
- Strong understanding of Instrumentation
& Control system and electrical systems, including various type of PLC,
SCADA platform, their modules and operating philosophies.
- Ability to understand both
standalone and integrated PLC, SCADA, DCS and IoT system and develop system
architecture accordingly.
- Good knowledge of major
industrial communication protocols, including wired and wireless technologies and
familiarity with products from multiple industrial
automation brands.
- Proficiency in performing technical evaluation of multiple electronic and instrumentation products,
ensuring proper selection based on technical suitability and
cost-effectiveness.
- Awareness of commercial
terminology and documentation used in government and Private tenders and
proposals.
- Well-versed in the
complete tendering process, including managing multiple tender portals,
identifying relevant opportunities aligned with TAS Product and Solution
Portfolio, preparing tender.
- Participate in reverse
auctions and support the sales team throughout the entire bid lifecycle, from
pre-bid stage to commercial bid opening.
- Prepare and maintain bid
schedules, timelines, and document repositories effectively.
- Prepare techno-commercial
offers, quotations, and bid proposals based on client requirements, in
coordination with Business Development and Sales teams.
- Prepare bid forecasts and
cost estimates aligned with overall bid budgets and commercial objectives.
- Perform
project-based system sizing, estimation, and detailed engineering activities.
- Act as the primary point
of contact between clients and the internal Bid Team for all bid-related
communications.
- Ensure effective
coordination and communication with internal teams, external stakeholders,
clients, and vendors.
- Provide pre-sales
technical support, including participation in client meetings, presentations,
and technical discussions.
- Independently handle
customer communication, including clarification of technical requirements and
negotiation support for technical and commercial terms.
