Senior Public Safety Systems Engineer
Position Summary
Ethic Tech, LLC is seeking a Senior Public Safety Systems Engineer to provide senior-level subject matter expertise and technical leadership for complex engineering, integration, and interoperability efforts supporting Army NG-911 and PSAP modernization.
This individual is responsible for technical design, installation oversight, testing, and cutover planning for modernized PSAP systems, and serves as a senior technical advisor to the Government on PSAP modernization strategy and interoperability decisions.
This position is remote with travel required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as senior technical advisor supporting strategic planning, technical roadmaps, and enterprise engineering decisions for NG-911 modernization.
- Support programmatic and engineering activities for NG-911 infrastructure planning and integration, including GIS/LIS data integration for 911 call routing.
- Ensure PSAP Systems interoperate with PSC ecosystem and comply with Army operational and cybersecurity standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum twelve (12) years' experience supporting NG-911 engineering, enterprise architecture, or public safety communications.
- Systems Engineer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- National Emergency Number Association (NENA) certifications.
- Association of Public-Safety Communications (APCO) certifications.
- NG-911 experience.
- Experience working within a DoD or large government installation environment.
- Experience with computer-aided dispatch.
- Interoperability testing and system integration environment.
Clearance Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- An active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 25% to military installations across the U.S.
