Daran arbeiten wir jeden Tag – mit rund 12.000Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern an über 50 Standorten weltweit.Your Responsibilities: Take technical ownership of the reliable andstable operation of AI-powered applications in production Monitorapplication health and investigate incidents using logs, metrics,alerts, and distributed traces Assess the technical impact andbusiness implications of production issues and coordinate theirresolution from initial analysis through closure Perform root causeanalyses across the entire application stack, including Pythonbackends, React frontends, REST APIs, databases, system integrations,and application configurations Read, review, debug, maintain, andcontinuously improve existing Python codebases Develop and deploy bugfixes, hotfixes, and technical improvements through establishedtesting, peer-review, and CI/CD processes Troubleshoot end-to-endapplication flows, including frontend-backend interactions,data-processing pipelines, AI integrations, and external dependenciesImplement smaller bug fixes and enhancements in React and TypeScriptwhere required Distinguish application-level issues from platform orinfrastructure failures and collaborate closely with the responsibleengineering teams Improve application logging, monitoring, alerting,error handling, resilience, performance, and overall observabilityMaintain application dependencies and support configuration, security,and version updates Develop automated unit and integration tests forbug fixes and technical improvements Implement sustainable correctivemeasures to prevent recurring production issues Maintain technicaldocumentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guidelinesSupport knowledge transfer, go-live activities, hypercare phases, andthe transition into regular operations Communicate technical status,risks, workarounds, and resolution progress clearly to the AI ServiceManager and relevant stakeholders Automate recurring operational,monitoring, and diagnostic activities What You Bring: 5+ years ofprofessional experience in Python backend development, including thedesign, maintenance, debugging, and optimization of production-gradeapplications Strong expertise in Python technologies and frameworkssuch as FastAPI, Flask, asynchronous programming, object-orienteddevelopment, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, JWT, PostgreSQL,SQLAlchemy, and SQL Proven experience working with complex codebases,performing root cause analysis, resolving production incidents, anddelivering sustainable solutions in business-critical environmentsHands-on experience with automated testing, Git-based developmentworkflows, code reviews, and modern software engineering bestpractices Strong background in cloud-native and distributedapplications, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, applicationmonitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and productiondeployments Experience with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate,CloudWatch, S3, load balancing, and queue-based architectures;Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g., Terraform) is considered anadvantage Solid understanding of AI-powered applications, includingLLM integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings,vector databases, document processing, AI agents, tool calling, andmulti-step orchestration workflows Experience integrating AI and LLMservices through APIs and investigating AI-specific production issuesrelated to model behavior, retrieval quality, latency, contextlimitations, and external dependencies Familiarity with Azure OpenAI,LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar AI application frameworksis a plus Understanding of frontend-backend interactions with theability to troubleshoot through browser developer tools, API traces,and application logs; basic React and TypeScript knowledge isbeneficial Experience working with enterprise integrations andplatforms such as SAP, SAP Gateway, EDI, Snowflake, or comparableenterprise environments is advantageous Proven ability to workindependently within complex system landscapes and collaborateeffectively with backend, frontend, cloud, platform, data, AI, andbusiness teams Successfully completed vocational training, auniversity degree, or equivalent practical experience in a relevanttechnical field Fluent English communication skills, both written andspoken Strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, andproblem-solving capabilities, combined with a structured, pragmatic,and service-oriented approach Ability to communicate complex technicaltopics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and towork effectively across backend, frontend, AI, cloud, data, andintegration domains Im Rahmen der Arbeitnehmerüberlassung suchen wirfür einen namhaften Kunden einen Senior Python Backend Developer –AI Applications (m/w/d).
