Senior Python Backend Developer (Azure & DevOps)

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in backend API development, DevOps practices, and Microsoft Azure services. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems while driving automation and cloud-native deployments. This role requires a collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Python.
- Implement and manage DevOps practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment.
- Optimize and maintain relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development with business needs.
- Use Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and performance issues.
- Apply Agile methodologies to support iterative development and continuous delivery.
- Perform basic Linux system administration tasks as required.
- Actively contribute as a team player, embracing feedback and continuous learning.
Required Skills
Primary Skills
- Python Backend API Development using FastAPI, Flask, and Celery (task queues).
- Experience with asynchronous Python networking (httpx, aiohttp).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases & ORM tools (SQLAlchemy, SQLModel, MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux administration.

Secondary Skills
- Knowledge of concurrent programming in Python.
- Familiarity with web servers and infrastructure (ASGI/WSGI, Apache, Nginx).
- Understanding of security protocols: Mutual TLS, SSL, OAuth 2.0 server implementation.
