Overview
As a Senior Python Developer in Citi's Wholesale Credit Risk Technology team, you will build and maintain enterprise-grade Python and FastAPI solutions that support front-office and risk functions. You will collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and leverage modern AI-focused tech, including LLMs and RAG architectures, to keep Citi ahead in credit risk infrastructure. You will navigate production issues, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and work within a risk-focused financial services environment. This role offers exposure to business initiatives and an opportunity to shape scalable risk platforms.

- Develop and maintain enterprise-scale Python applications using FastAPI
- Collaborate with onshore, offshore and matrix teams to deliver business solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployments
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues and bugs
- Engage with modern AI technologies (LLMs, Model Context Protocol, RAG) to enhance risk workflows
- Communicate development progress to Project Lead and stakeholders
- Support financial services applications with a focus on front-office and risk management
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical design reviews
- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience
- Proven experience with FastAPI
- Hands-on development in Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes
- Strong collaboration and communication with development teams
- Ability to work with onshore, offshore, and matrix teams
- Experience with AI-related tech including LLMs, Model Context Protocol, and RAG
- Experience in Financial Services is preferred
