Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Python programming and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing scalable applications, building REST APIs, designing cloud-native solutions, and deploying applications on AWS. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS, SQS, and SNS.
• Design and optimize databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Implement application security, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Develop automated unit tests, integration tests, and deployment workflows.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to streamline application delivery.
• Identify and troubleshoot application and production issues.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Follow coding standards, security best practices, and Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on expertise in Python.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS, SQS, and SNS.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and application monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and serverless application development.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• AWS certifications are an added advantage.
