Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply strong engineering skills within the fast-evolving world of digital assets and blockchain technology. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in developing features and new products
• Develop solutions according to specified business requirements
• Define and write up technical specifications, including the appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
• Demonstrate and present implementation work to team leaders, heads, or the CTO
• Implement unit and integration tests to validate functionality
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility
• Participate in code reviews, identifying anti-patterns in the code along with opportunities for refactoring
• Design and implement secure integrations with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges, and digital wallets
• Contribute to the development of systems supporting cryptocurrency trading, custody, and settlement
• Take on other duties as deemed necessary by their superior from time to time

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience in software development and coding in Python
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Some experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies
• Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications
• Some experience building websockets
• Some level of experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm
• Proficiency in using version control and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins
• Understanding of web security standards and best practices
• Strong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and digital assets
• Hands-on experience integrating with crypto APIs (REST/WebSocket), smart contracts, or blockchain SDKs
• Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)

Nice to have

• Exposure to DeFi protocols, Web3 frameworks, or digital custody systems, which is a plus
• Knowledge of PHP, which will be considered an advantage
