Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain scalable backend infrastructure that supports organizational objectives
- Evaluate colleagues' code contributions to ensure consistent quality standards
- Partner with multiple departments to identify and refine technical specifications
- Identify and resolve complex problems spanning the entire software stack
- Provide input on architectural decisions and future technical direction
- Offer mentorship and guidance to junior developers within the team
- Enhance application performance while ensuring dependable system operation
- Craft clean, organized, and thoroughly documented source code
- Engage in sprint planning discussions and workload estimation
- Remain informed on emerging tools, trends, and industry standards
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience in software development
- Strong expertise in Python and its fundamental libraries
- Hands-on knowledge of database structuring and query performance tuning
- Proficient use of Git for version tracking and collaborative coding
- Demonstrated experience developing applications with Python web frameworks
- Working knowledge of Python web servers and deployment strategies
- Strong understanding of security basics and secure development techniques
- Exposure to different software development methodologies and their practical implementation
- Track record of implementing authentication and authorization features
- Basic familiarity with AI principles and their use in software development
- Proficient English skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microservice Architecture Style and its role in distributed system design
- Exposure to Python testing frameworks and techniques for maintaining code quality
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies to support structured development practices
