Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to strengthen enterprise GitHub governance, automation, and reporting across a large-scale environment. You will own GitHub Enterprise administration, build Python tooling around GitHub APIs and data platforms, and support audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Administer GitHub Enterprise by managing organizations, teams, repositories, and access controls
- Govern GitHub Copilot models and licenses, including configuration, usage reporting, and budget tracking
- Design and build Python scripts to extract, process, and manage GitHub data via APIs
- Implement Git governance standards covering branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD integration
- Enable reporting pipelines by integrating GitHub data with BigQuery and visualization tools
- Coordinate and provide evidence, documentation, and data required for external audits
- Participate in on-call rotation when needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of Python development experience for automation and operational scripting
- 3+ years of GitHub Enterprise administration experience across orgs, teams, repos, and access controls
- Strong leadership skills to drive Git best practices, governance, and workflow standards
- Proven project experience delivering usage reporting, license governance, and operational dashboards
- Hands-on experience with GitHub API integration and data extraction workflows
- Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination and audit support
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
