We are looking for a Python Developer Senior Associate to join our client's Managed Services team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Python-based applications and microservices. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality technical solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help improve operational efficiency through automation and data-driven insights. You will also assist in troubleshooting issues, working on API and backend services, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Python-based applications and microservices.
- Collaborate with team members to design and deliver scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Support the development and integration of RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues in applications.
- Work with data to generate insights that support business and technical decision-making.
- Contribute to documentation, coding standards, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Assist in implementing cloud-based solutions, particularly in AWS environments.
- Support data engineering tasks, including ETL processes and data handling workflows.
- Follow Agile/Scrum practices and participate in sprint planning and delivery activities.
- Adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and best practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in data engineering and ETL pipelines is an advantage.
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools is a plus.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills.
- Can start immediately, if possible.
